رواية تعرض ما واجهه العالم من أوقات عصيبة، خلال أزمة كورونا، وإن كانت شخوصها من محض الخيال ،إلا أنه يمكن اسقاطها على الواقع ، حيث تعرض للكثير من المشاهد التي رافقت جائحة كورونا ، وردود الأفعال اداخلية والعالمية عليها، أما بطل الرواية وهو الدكتور سهيل ، فهو نموذج لمئات الأبطال الذين قدموا حياتهم من ابناء الكادر الطبي في أكثر من مكان، في مواجهة الجائحة.
تبدأ الرواية بالدكتور سهيل الذي يهوى الرسم إلى جانب عمله المهني كطبيب،وفيما كان يرسم لوحة يرغب في المشاركة فيها بمعرض فني،تحقيقاً لحلمه بأن يكون رساماً شهيراً، لكن جائحة كورونا تداهمه كما هو حال العالم كله،ليسارع إلى عمله مستنفراً لمواجهة فايروس كورونا، لكن القدر يعاجله وهو في خضم المواجهة مع الفايروس ليقضي شهيداً، وعندها تقوم زوجته بتحقيق أمنيته الأخيرة ،بان يكون فناناً شهيراً، فتكمل بمساعدة ولده تلك اللوحة التي بدأها بعد عشرين عاما على رحيلة،فيما تقدم ثمن اللوحة في مزاد علني للمحتاجين باسم زوجها الراحل تقديراً له وتخليداً لاسمه .

الإنسان عموماً وعبر كل تاريخه القديم والجديد كان بحاجة دائماً إلى الإيمان بمعتقدات وقناعات دينيّة وذهنية وثقافية، وفي الوقت ذاته لا يتصور نفسه خارج هذه المعتقدات والقناعات أو منسلخاً منها، فهي توفر له الاطمئنان النفسي والشعوري، وتوفر له الحماية أيضاً من نفسه التي ربما قد تسلك في وقت ما دروباً وعرة أو تعرجات حادة أو شكوكاً محتملة أو مناطق مجهولة.
وعليه لا يمكن أن نجرّد الآخرين من معتقداتهم الدينية، سواءً أكانت سماوية أم وضعية، وذلك أن المصالح تقاربت بين الدول والشعوب في جوانب كثيرة من الحياة ولأن حرية المعتقد الديني يجب أن تبقى شأناً خاصاً بالفرد وحده، وواحدة من أقدس حقوقه الإنسانية والمدنية والدينية بشكل عام، لذا حاولت في بحثي هذا أن اسرد أو اعرض معتقدات الدينية لدى شعوب العالم وما بها من شرائع كما هي في مفاهيمهم، من غير تعصب أو تحيز.
